improvisation techniques for business
How to develop your emotional intelligence, flexibility of thinking and communication through improves

Improvisation as a competence?

We live in volatile and uncertain times. An effective way to operate in such conditions is not to try to control the chaos, but to develop a fluid way of interacting with it - the ability to improvise.

The ability to improvise is useful no matter what position you are in. We all deal with surprising situations and solve unplanned problems"on the fly." Learn how to reduce your stress and act effectively under changing conditions.

How to do it? You will find out on March 14, 2023 at 11:00 am at the free I'MPRO IMPRO webinar.

Improvisation workshops are now being reached for by global giants (Google, Pixar or Apple), as well as prestigious universities training future leaders in MBA courses (e.g. Stanford, Massachusetts Institute of Technology or the University of California at Los Angeles). Why? Because applied improvisation classes develop teamwork, cooperation, emotional intelligence and the ability to act effectively without scheming.

The Carnegie Institute of Technology reports that 85% of our professional and financial success depends on how we communicate, negotiate and build relationships. This means that in the main, our effectiveness depends on soft competencies.

1. Soft skills and emotional intelligence as key competencies in business.
2. Applied improvisation as a developmental method for adults.
3. Case study + short exercise to experience how it works.

Knowledge from the webinar will be useful to IT, HR and L&D experts, HR Business Partners, and managers managing teams.

Bart Jurkowski - psychologist, trainer, improviser.
Head (and Shoulders) of I'MPRO IMPRO - an organization helping teams and managers develop professional soft skills through improvisation techniques. Ex-UX Senior Consultant at Deloitte Digital. Conducts improvisation workshops for companies (including Google, mBank, MasterCard) and improv courses for leaders in MBA programs at WSB in Wroclaw. After hours, he performs in Improvised Musical and TADex - improvised presentations.

feedback from participants

I recommend to everyone, introverts too

"Improvisation workshops show how to deal with unexpected situations without preparation, but acting with empathy and openness. They develop skills of communication, cooperation and creative thinking. They teach attentiveness to others, but especially to oneself and one's emotions. And all this set in a business context, with a large dose of humor and gratitude training at the beginning of each class :) I recommend to everyone, introverts too ;)"

flexible communication depending on the situation

Inherent in design is uncertainty and change, rapidly changing market conditions, customer expectations and trends require new competencies. Thinking about the role of a designer in new, uncertain times, I was looking for methods to enable "flexible communication" depending on the situation, and tools to support teams in creating new products and services in an ever-changing environment.

Jan Wardecki, Service Designer, BNP PARIBAS

"The online Applied Improvisation class was extremely practical, intense and inspiring. By taking the class, I learned how to increase goal achievement in uncertain and unexpected situations both in workshops and business meetings. Improvisation classes allow you to enter a completely different level of communication in a team or workshop group."

greater self-confidence

"Improvisation workshops with I'MPRO IMPRO should be mandatory like taxes :) Improvisation for me is flexibility of thought, the ability to react to changing reality. It's also openness to another person. Thanks to the classes, I felt more confident. I also learned to be attentive to others - it's a great place to experience how different we are, and at the same time, how much value we bring :) Thanks Bart!"
